Sir:
I’ve purchased a Gew 98 Group 1 Number 6 cut down to15 inches. I understand that Number 6’s were cut down for better use in trenches. I’m still lookig for another Gew 98 Bayonet. Do you know any reliable sources for Gew 98 bayonets? Also I’m looking for a cleaning rod.
Thanks, Al
If you’re from the USA, keep in mind that it is illegal to possess any rifle with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length without having a valide class III firearms license.
As far as gew 98 bayonets, all of these were used & will fit.
Seitengewehr 98/05, or SG 84/98 2nd pattern. These will also fit & be correct period. S14 & ersatz 1916
HI, We have a Ewalf Cleff Solingen Bayonet with a highly decorative blade and spine. Can you give me any information on it and its approx value.
I can take a picture and email if you would like
