SA Dagger
Nazi SA Dagger - also known as brown dagger as it has brown scabbard, brown wood grip, also has SA logo on small round medallion below the pommel-cap. Blade Inscription reads ”Alles fur Deutschland” translates to “Everything for Germany.”
This particular dagger was carried by the officers of the SA or “Sturmabeilung” from 1934 to 1945.
This was basically the Nazi Party security force referred to as “Brownshirts“; the scabbard is brown-enameled with single-ring hanger and nickel-plated throat and drag. The wood grip has an aluminum nazi eagle & swastika emblem.
This one was manufactured by Carl Eickhorn in 1941 & is marked RZM M7/66

I have a SA dagger with these makings , A circle on the back of the blade with Robert Klass and two cranes in the middle. Then at the bottom under that is RZM-M7/37. Is there anything anyone can tell me about this dagger
I have one of these daggers… the scabbard is not brown, it is more of a black… but it might be from age too… it looks like it might have been corroded (the scabbard paint) with age… but I would like to know what the price on one of these might be…
For Andrew:
If your SA Dagger’s scabbard is indeed black then it is from the NSKK Division, the Moter corps. of the SA.
I have one of these, the dagger is exactly the same as any SA dagger and they were originally issued with a brown scabberd too, but a few years after the NSKK formation an order came for the SA NSKK men to paint there scabbards black in whatever manner they saw fit. That being said, you will find examples that were well painted or dipped in black to ones that were quickly wiped with an oily rag.
I hope this helps, any more questions i can be reached at Squall_hanni@hotmail.com
